my blower keeps shutting down in use. what do i need to do?
For model number 536881800
Hello Pam, thank you for the question. This happens most probably because of bad fuel, a dirty carburetor that is unable to regulate the mixture of air and gas provided to the engine, too much oil in the crankcase, a clogged fuel filter, a broken fuel cap that is unable to vent, and a dirty spark plug. If the carburetor is clogged, try cleaning it with a carburetor cleaner. If cleaning the carburetor isn’t effective, rebuild or replace the entire carburetor, part number PS9142838. Inspect the spark plug, part number PS9074700, for signs of wear or damage. If the porcelain insulator is cracked, you will need to replace it. If this does not help, you will need to check the fuel cap, part number PS9306848. Please reach out to customer service if you need help placing an order. Glad to be of help!
