PartSelect Number PS11812933
Manufacturer Part Number 753-06797
The fuel tank assembly is responsible for storing and supplying fuel to the engine in lawn and outdoor power equipment. It includes the tank, fuel cap, and fuel lines. The fuel tank assembly will fail if the tank develops cracks or leaks, or if the fuel lines can become clogged. When the fuel tank assembly fails, you will notice fuel leakage, restricted fuel supply, stalling, difficulties starting and overall lower performance. Before beginning any repairs, first drain any remaining fuel from the tank for your safety. Disconnect the fuel lines from the tank and remove the fuel tank from the equipment. Position the new tank on to the mounting holes and secure it in place. Connect the fuel lines to the engine and vent to complete your repair.

Cub Cadet String Trimmer Fuel Tank Assembly
★★★★★
★★★★★
1 Review
PartSelect Number PS9118306
Manufacturer Part Number 753-06250
Fuel tanks are responsible for storing and supplying fuel, like gasoline, for an engine. This fuel tank assembly is designed for and compatible with various models of trimmers and includes the plastic fuel tank and fuel cap, securing screws, and 2 fuel lines. To best maintain your fuel tank, make sure to inspect the fuel filter regularly for any clogs that could affect equipment performance, and replace it when necessary. Over time and through aging, fuel tanks themselves can wear down and crack, or get severely clogged, leading to issues like contamination rendering the tank unsafe to use, and in need of replacement. You must drain the fuel from the tank before you replace it, and you will need a screwdriver or wrench to remove any panels and securing screws containing the tank.

Cub Cadet String Trimmer Glide Cap
★★★★★
★★★★★
2 Reviews
PartSelect Number PS10009817
Manufacturer Part Number 753-08170
This genuine OEM glide cap, is also referred to as a fixed line head. It protects the cutting line of your string trimmer and prevents it from coming into contact with sidewalks or curbs. Housing the cutting head assembly, it guides and helps the trimmer smoothly glide along the edges without causing damage to the line or the machine. The glide cap is typically found at the bottom end of the trimmer head, where the cutting line extends. The cap is made out of plastic and wears out over time, especially when it rubs against the ground. You may also notice that the string feeds outside of the head uncontrollably. To remove the glide cap, simply depress its locking tabs on each side and pull it away from the cutting head. Install the new glide cap by aligning it with the correct notches on the trimmer, pushing it into place, and using a screwdriver to secure the tabs. Please bear in mind that the glide cap is sold separately from the rest of the cutting head assembly.

Cub Cadet String Trimmer Oil Fill Tube Assembly
PartSelect Number PS11813661
Manufacturer Part Number 951-14441
This oil fill tube assembly is supplied by the original manufacturer for use in a variety of lawn and garden equipment. It includes a plastic tube and one dipstick O-ring (dipstick sold separately). The assembly allows the user to easily access and replenish the oil. It is responsible for ensuring that the engine is adequately lubricated for smooth operation and prevention of friction damage. The oil fill tube assembly will need to be replaced if the tube is damaged, or the threaded caps on either end are stripped. A faulty oil fill tube assembly will result in oil leaks, inadequate lubrication, poor engine performance, and eventual engine damage if left unaddressed. Remove the equipment housing to access the engine block. Remove any fasteners and components blocking access to the tube. Gently pull the oil fill tube off the engine and remove the O-ring. Clean the sealing surface and press the new O-ring into place. Position the new tube on the mounting surface and ensure it is secure and stable. Reassemble the equipment in reverse order.
