Leaking gasket
Easily pulled old gasket from channel. Soaked new gasket in warm water. Cleaned debris from channel with wire brush and CLR. Starting at top-middle, gently pressed new gasket in place. Used a gentle push-pull technique on the corners. Used fingers to smooth gasket all around. Closed door and kept latched for 2 hours. Ran dishwaher to check for leaks. Read more...

This part is the replacement door seal for your dishwasher. It is approximately 22 inches long and 2 inches wide. This door seal is made of gray plastic and is found at the bottom the dishwasher. The door seal is designed to seal the gap between the dishwasher tub and outer edge of the door. This helps to prevent leaks when your dishwasher is running. A leaking dishwasher is a good indication that the door seal is damaged. This seal is sold individually and is an OEM part sourced directly from the manufacturer.

Door leaking from corner.
First, I replaced the bottom door seal. You will need magnetic nut drivers because of the location of the 3/16 screws that hold the seal in place. you also need a 1/4 in nut driver to remove plastic cover that covers up the 5 3/16 screws. Last you need a small star driver to remove the door screws. Note 4 of the door screws, the 4 on top of the door are much longer than the side screws. With all this said, this seal was not my problem. I then replaced the large black rubber seal around the tub. Be sure if you do this you fold the seal in half and start in the middle of the top of the opening so you have the exact amount of seal left over on both sides. Also when you remove the old seal, clean the area it was removed from with a damp cloth. Turns out, That was not my problem either. So now I will move to the next step to see where the water is coming from but maybe this information will help someone with a simple door leak. Read more...

Dishwasher door leaking
First off, this part does not look like a seal. It seems more like a trim piece. It is the only part along the bottom of the DW door so it is indeed a seal, and the DW was leaking after I replaced the seal around the tub and the door. First take off the inner panel of the door by removing the Torx screws on the edge and the hinges. Pay attention to which hole each screw came out because they are different lengths. Gently separate the inner panel being careful with the wires going to the detergent dispenser. The seal is held on by 5 small hex head screws on the bottom of the door panel. Water Leaking Out Front Below Door
Replaced lower door seal kit per directions without success. Upon further diagnosis, I noticed the rubber section of the water tube (a seperate part in older models) had melted or burned or tore a ragged strip lengthwise in it. I purchased and installed the manifold spray arm kit ps382824 and because it was inexpensive I also got the wash arm bearing ring ps402231. I replaced all of these parts. . A very simple process if done one piece at a time. This spray arm kit comes with an upper spray arm, a water supply tube, a screw, and two holding clips. After these components were replaced the water no longer leaks. In order of most to least important in my situation. The wash arm bearing had actually worn off the shoulder and looked more like a cylindrical bushing or I than a cross section l. This component and the water tube were the most important parts. The door seal isn't a water proof gasket type of part it's more of a plastic splash shield. Good luck. . It can be done. . And it's worth the money and tme. Overall this is a good unit. Read more...
