This OEM grommet, also called a 90-degree breather tube, is sold individually. Black in color and made of rubber, this is a 90-degree elbow for the crankcase breather tube of your mower engine. If you notice a reduction in the mower engine performance, and engine backfires, this part is likely to be in need of replacing. It can develop cracks due to fatigue, and our troubleshooting tip is to inspect this part if dark smoke is coming out of the exhaust, it is a telltale sign.
This is an easy repair to make, and does not require any tools. The new grommet attaches on the breather tube fromt he crankcase to the carburetor.

The part is made of rubber and is black in color. You must purchase this part individually. Your grommet may require replacing if you notice dark smoke coming out of the exhaust. This is a telltale sign that your grommet has become cracked and damaged. Other symptoms are a reduction in the mower performance, or a backfiring engine.
