Oven temp runaway tempreture, oven light out, sensor was changed for temp drifting low
The light and sensor were straight forward and easy. The EOC was as well but there was one glitch. You have to also purchase the black panel overlay, you cannot use the old one. While the adhesive will still adhere, the keypad is different and REQUIRES the new cover. This would have been good to know when I ordered parts as I did not know until I got the three parts and had to reorder the overlay creating a weeks delay in it's repair. Read more...

Needed to change electronic control board
Unplug appliance. Removed back plate cover with 1/4" nut driver (6 screws). Removed old control board with Philips screwdriver (4 screws). Pulled out 5 old connectors. Were a little difficult to get out, had to delicately use a flat head screwdriver to pry loose as not to break the connector. Installed new overlay on new control board (I recommend getting a new overlay and not using the old one, its easier). Reinstalled new control board with 4 screws. Reconnected the 4 connector parts. Installed back plate cover 6 screws. Plugged in and all worked. Read more...

Touch Screen Overlay
I was actually replacing an EOC and it did not state anywhere that I might need this. In the end I did, the new board is not compatible with the old overlay and I had no idea so intended to re-use the old one. I had to wait for the new one and it worked fine. The EOC had actually been damaged by a power surge and it was obvious it was bad. I was actually hoping that this would resolve a temperature drift issue but it did not. Read more...

Time display went out and could not set the oven.
Pulled the stove away from the wall and disconnect power source. Remove top back panel. Unscrew control board unplug wires remove the face on board. Place the face on new control board. And reverse the process. Very easy. Read more...
