Rusted hose clips and surfaces inside the washer.

Replacing the dispenser was easy and could have been done with very little disassembly, but I didn't even know the dispenser was broken or caused the rust. After I opened the console and removed the cabinet, I also had to take the top off the cabinet to clean out the rust, wire brush it and Rustoleum it. I also replaced all rusted clamps. When I reassembled everything, I could not keep the piece the front end hose (for fabric softener) from dropping out of the bottom of the dispenser. The parts diagram didn't show the blue piece or hose clamp. The answer "expert" was useless. I ordered the dispenser because my only option was to replace the old washer. When it came, I found that piece was held up by GLUE. When that glue failed, there was nothing to keep it up to the bottom of the dispenser. When it dropped down on the top of the basket, it sprayed the pre-mixing water all around, instead of into the dispenser to pre-mix with softener. THAT'S what rusted all the other parts.
