This is an OEM replacement ice and water filter for your refrigerator. In side-by-side refrigerators, it is found in the top right corner or the bottom left grille. In bottom-freezer refrigerators, the filter is in the bottom left grille. In top-freezer units, the filter is located in the middle of the refrigerator. This NSF certified filter reduces 28 contaminants including pharmaceuticals, metals, minerals, pesticides, cysts, industrial chemicals, Class I Particulates and chlorine. It is made up of coconut carbon block and has three layers of filtration. The first layer is particle filtration that helps block larger contaminants. The second layer is micro-filtration, which prevents medium-sized impurities from passing. The third layer is called absorption filtration, which absorbs microscopic-sized pollutants. It measures 2 inches deep, 2 inches wide, 1-1/2 inches high, and weighs 0.5 lbs. To ensure your filter is working its best, it needs to be replaced every six months. This single filter has a simple, quick-turn installation feature that does not require any tools.

This water filter (Whirlpool EveryDrop Refrigerator Water Filter, Single Turn Filter) purifies water going to the water dispenser and sometimes the icemaker as well. This part should be replaced if it is causing reduced water flow or just replaced periodically per the owner manual. Replacing this water filter may fix a noisy or leaking fridge, a fridge that is not dispensing water (or reduced flow rate), and an ice maker that is not making ice at all, or not making enough ice. This filter is white, sold individually and measures 8 inches by 3 inches in diameter. This water filter has been updated by the manufacturer. This Refrigerator Air Filter is a white 1.8x3.2" plastic filter which neutralizes odor and bacteria in the air. It should be replaced every six months at a minimum. Refer to your user manual and model number to see if this filter is right for your fridge. This water filter is a genuine replacement for bottom-freezer refrigerators that accept a Filter 2. it is certified to remove up to 24 different contaminants which include pharmaceuticals, waterborne parasites, lead, and pesticides. The filter should be replaced every six months, or when 200 gallons of water have passed through, to ensure optimum contaminant reduction. The filter is found in the top right corner of your fridge, and replacing it is easy. Simply pop out the old one (keep a bucket underneath to catch any water) and slide in the new one. You will hear a click once it has locked into place. You should run water through the filter for a couple minutes prior to use. This filter measures approximately two inches wide, two inches deep, and 7.5 inches long.

Front wheel was broken when moving refrigerator
Lifted the front up onto a scrap 2x4 to get it off the ground and it had 1 bolt that you removed to get the old item off and replace with new assymbly and 1 bolt to re attach. This sat broke for over a year becuase I thought it would be alot harder to fix, found the part on parts select ordered it recieved it in approx 2 days and had it fixed in less than 15 minutes. I would recommend parts select to anyone who told me that they had a appliance broken.

Basic Filter Water Replacement
First I located the filter on the the unit, (luckily it was right up front so I didn't have to move the unit), then I placed a towel down under where the filter would travel when it was removed from the unit, just to catch the water that was still in the filter itself, (no need to turn the water off at the valve for this particular unit) I gripped the front of the filter and turned it counter clockwise about a quarter of a turn and slid the filter straight out, then I removed the thumb screw attachment on the end of the old filter and placed it on the new filter, (this is done by sliding the unit to one end or the other), then I removed the protective cap from the opposite end of the filter and discarded it, then I slid the new filter into place (lining it up until it goes all the way in and turned it clockwise that same quarter of a turn.
