This part is the replacement spark plug for your engine. It measures approximately 2.5 inches by 1 inch. The spark plug creates the spark that ignites fuel in your engine during the combustion process. Over time, spark plugs can become worn and can go bad, which will prevent the engine from firing. You can test your spark plug for continuity with a multimeter, and inspect it for corrosion if you suspect the spark plug has gone bad. This Ni Nut-Lock, or Nylock Nut, is a Silver 1/4 x 20 metal nut. Sold individually, it can be adjusted using a wrench or socket and torque wrench to the manufacturer specfications, and is used to secure the sheer pin in place, on the impeller assembly. These nuts are a one-time use part due to their locking mechanism. You'll know the nut has broken when it appears to have damaged threads or rounded off edges.

Toro Lawn Tractor Grommet

This grommet is an OEM part that is a 45-degree elbow for the crankcase breather tube of your mower engine. That is why it is also known as a 45-degree breather tube.
The part is made of rubber and is black in color. You must purchase this part individually. Your grommet may require replacing if you notice dark smoke coming out of the exhaust. This is a telltale sign that your grommet has become cracked and damaged. Other symptoms are a reduction in the mower performance, or a backfiring engine. According to our customers, this is an easy repair.
It requires no tools. Simply attach the grommet to the breather tube from the crankcase to the carburetor.

Toro Lawn Tractor Diaphragm-Carburetor

This is a carburetor diaphragm, which is an OEM part that pumps fuel from the tank to the engine. It is roughly 1x2 inches and black in color. Sold individually, this part can fail due to fatigue and wear, and if it is broken you may notice your engine is running rough or not starting. If your engine exhibits these signs of being starved of fuel, your diaphragm is damaged and needs to be replaced.
Our customers found this repair to be of medium difficulty. It requires a wrench, screwdriver, and pliers to complete. You will be able to locate your diaphragm inside the carburetor itself to swap it out with your new one.

This 5hp B&G was manufactured in 1985! Had been garage kept and always dependable. After 10 years of non use the carb wasn't getting gas. Removed air cleaner box, muffler and crankcase breather to easily remove carb, replace parts and reassemble.

about 6 hours to tear down and replace don't do it in the hot sun needed more breaks takes longer, but the new factory heads did it started up 185 lbs of compression almost back to new, so much more power than old one's. FYI take off the motor cover every year clean out the debris (grass-mouse nest- and oil) it blocks the air and COOKS THE HEAD it only takes short time and will make that motor last a little longer but it is a BRIGGS engine

Toro Lawn Tractor Gasket-Fuel Tank

This fuel tank gasket is an OEM part certified by the manufacturer, and it provides a seal on the gas tank and carburetor of your machine.
This fuel tank gasket is gray in color and made of composite materials. It is sold individually and is not part of a kit or assembly. Over time, the gasket can become damaged due to fatigue or wear, or it can dry out and the seal will fail. If you notice fuel leaking from the fuel tank gasket, it is time to replace it.
This is a medium-difficulty repair that requires a wrench, sockets, and a screwdriver. You will look to reinstall your new part between the carburetor and gas tank. Note that if your carburetor and tank are separated for any other repairs or maintenance, you will also need to replace your fuel tank gasket regardless of condition, as it is a one-time use.
