Spreader Ring-Retaining
PartSelect Number PS8950132
Manufacturer Part Number 32151-61
This metal retaining ring, otherwise known as a snap ring, holds parts in place in your lawn equipment, such as blades, shafts, pulleys, or other rotating components, to prevent them from sliding off or shifting. A broken ring may be warped, cracked, or have missing sections. You can tell if it is damaged when the components in your machine are wobbly or falling off. To remove a retaining ring, you will need a pair of needle-nose pliers or lock/snap ring pliers that fit into the grooves of the ring. By using the pliers to release the tension on the ring, you can carefully slide it off the machine. Consult your user manual for instructions on the removal process and to confirm how many rings your machine will need. This replacement part is sold individually and is produced by the original equipment manufacturer so that it precisely fits your machine.

Spreader Brake Puck (Sold Individually)
PartSelect Number PS9165951
Manufacturer Part Number 917-0678
When the brakes are applied, this brake puck presses against the brake disc in your lawn equipment to help slow down or stop it. The brake puck is in the brake assembly, which might be located near the transmission or the wheels of your machine. If you notice that the machine takes longer to stop or that there is a loud scraping or grinding noise when you push down on the brake, your brake puck may have worn out. If it is not replaced, you risk losing braking power, which leads to equipment damage or accidents. Before any repairs, make sure that your machine is turned off and that the spark plug is disconnected. To dissemble the brake assembly and access the brake puck, use pliers or a wrench to remove any bolts or clips holding it in place. With a screwdriver, pry the brake puck out of your machine. Since this genuine OEM part is sold individually, determine the number of pucks your machine needs by consulting your user manual.

Seized bearing and spacer on bolt shaft for idler pulley
Unfortunately I couldn’t find the spacer on the Internet, so I ended up going to the hardware store and buying multiple sizes of spacers and bearings to complete the install. I ended up using a steel spacer with shoulder and two bearings. Way overkill, but worth the three dollars. Read more...

Spreader Valve-Check (Duckbill)
PartSelect Number PS9002985
Manufacturer Part Number 530026119
This check valve, also known as a one-way valve, is a genuine OEM part that regulates the flow of fuel/oil in the equipment engine to prevent it from flowing backwards. It is made of plastic and designed for use in a variety of lawn and garden power equipment. If the valve is jammed, worn down, or contaminated with dirt and debris, it will be unable to open and close properly, thus restricting the flow of fuel and compromising the engine combustion process. You will likely notice fuel leaks around the carburetor, engine stalling, hard starting, and overall lower performance from your equipment. To remove the faulty valve, carefully disconnect any hoses or fasteners connected to it. Place the new valve in position and secure it appropriately.
