This pin is hollow and features a split lengthwise down the middle to allow it to fit within tighter spaces and reduce the movement between two parts, such as the shaft or axle. If your snowblower is not performing well or has seen a decrease in power, check to make sure the roll pin is not damaged. To remove and install a new roll pin, you will need a hammer and a punch, and will simply need to punch out the old pin and punch in the new one.
