Hi Stephen, thank you for getting in touch. We are providing you with some relevant instructions which may not be of the exact same model but will help while attaching the spring cover. In order to attach the spring cover, slide up the spring cover and detach the cable adjuster from the spring. Unhook the spring from the bail lever and set the spring aside. Install the spring cover. Hook the spring onto the bail lever. Attach the opposite end to the cable adjuster and slide the cover down. Good luck with your repair!
