I read through the questions. It appears my issue is similar to Robert's. However, my icemaker is making ice, it clicks. It appears when finished freezing ice it does not release ice immediately until some water come in during cycle. I assume the slight heat element is not working. anyway to repair?

Hello Mike, thank you for getting in touch. Based on our understanding of the issue, we would suggest checking the water inlet valve, part number PS12744135, to solve the problem. It supplies water to the ice maker and water dispenser in the refrigerator. Glad to be of assistance!

Does this part control the temperature in the ice maker? My icemaker is not making ice but the compartment doesn't feel cold enough, it cycles through with no water. I do have water coming through the water dispencer.

Hi Kyle, thank you for reaching out. Based on our research, the issue is not with the ice maker. The issue is most probably with the water inlet valve. We would suggest replacing the dual water valve with flow meter, part number PS12744135, to solve the problem. Glad to be of help!

My ice maker makes ice most of the time it won't eject the cubes. I thought the cubes were a little small so I replaced the inlet valve and it started working. For a week then quit again. I replaced the water lines coming into the fridge and the inlet valve again because the water line was deteriorating and it started working, for a week. I replaced the dual water valve and that made no change. Is my problem the ice maker itself, if so why does changing the inlet valve fix it for 7 to 10 days?

Hi Robert, thank you for reaching out. Based on the description you have provided, we would suggest defrosting the ice maker. Over time, components within the ice maker can become frozen, preventing the ejection of ice cubes. If the issue persists, you may we would recommend checking the auger motor, part number PS12744139. It turns the auger that pushes the ice cubes through the dispenser chute. You may need to replace it to fix the issue. We hope this solves your problem!
