how to replace door handle on this model-
For model number cfmv1645tw
Hello Rich, Thank you for your inquiry. To remove the handle, you need to take the microwave door off and remove the inner panel. Start by opening the door and use a Phillips head screwdriver to unthread the two screws securing the front vent. Remove the vent with a putty knife and you should now be able to lift the door off and set it on a towel or blanket so it doesn't get scratched. Now use a putty knife to help detach the inner door trim by working around the edges. With the door trim removed, unthread the four screws securing the inner door assembly and use a large
flat-head screwdriver to help separate the inner door assembly from the outer
door panel. You can now unthread the two mounting screws to release the old handle. Align the new door handle on the outer door handle, and thread the mounting screws to secure it. Line up the inner door assembly and snap it into position and rethread the screws. Replace the door trim and reinstall the door assembly by inserting the hinge pins into the holes in the hinges and reinstall the front vent by aligning the top edge first then press the bottom edge into place thread the two screws. Good luck with your repair.
