How do I fix my washer? When I start it with lid down, it begins filling but only last 30 seconds then stops and does nothing. If I lift the lid and close it it does the same thing again.

Auto fill sense not working, unable to go past fill. Lid lock does engages when indicator is on spin and drain.
For model number WTW4655JW1
Hi Anthony, thank you for reaching out. It seems your auto-fill sense is not working so we have researched it and found there may be an issue with the electric control board. Please check it and replace it with part number PS16221218. If the issue is still not solved, please check/replace the water inlet valve with part number PS11773194. We hope this helps, good luck with this repair!
This product comes in a bottle with a brush like Liquid Paper. It goes on incredibly easy. A second coat might be needed. I wanted to prevent rust from setting in so I covered the scratches and dings. The paint is a little brighter since my washer is 10 years old but it still looks great.
unfasten top from back, slide top forward and lift up, remove switch and cable (one piece), in stall new switch and cable, put top down and slide back, reinstall screws.
