Won’t start
For model number RY30020A
Hello Chris, thank you for contacting us. If the trimmer will not start, you may need to check that the carburetor or air filter is not clogged. If the issue still persists, you may need to check the spark plug, part number PS10018287, to resolve the issue. We hope this helps!
Are there any adjustments for the carburetor other than the throttle speed control?
For model number RY30020A
Hello Eddy, thanks for the great question! Most small engine carburetors only have the choke (throttle speed control) that is adjustable. On some others, there may be low-speed and high-speed screws that can be adjusted to control the maximum working RPMS and RPMs while idling, depending on the brand. The low-speed screw would be the one closest to the engine, the high-speed screw would be further away, towards the air filter. Hope this helps, good luck with this repair.
