Does the convection heating element assist in heating up the oven in "bake" mode along with the top and bottom elements?
For model number NE595R0ABSR
Hello Tim, Thank you for the question. In ovens with the convection feature, the convection fan will come on during preheat in the conventional cycle also, but will go off when the oven reaches temperature. We hope this helps.

My touch pad won’t respond to #s 4,5,9. All other functions work. I unplugged power, cleaned the ribbon cable connector from the touch pad. When it first acted up is was intermittent but now not at all. How can i tell if it’s the control board de92-03045f or the touch pad that’s defective?

Hi Robert,
Thank you for your question. To verify if the touchpad is the issue, you will need to test it with a multimeter for continuity. If the touchpad is fine then you will need to replace the electronic control board. We hope this helps! If you have any questions, please let us know.

Hello Tim, Thank you for the question. We suggest testing the Sensor, PartSelect Number PS4240743. Testing the temperature sensor probe on your oven is easy. With the sensor at room temperature, measure the resistance between the two prongs at the end of the sensor connector. The resistance of the sensor should read approximately 1080 – 1090 ohms at room temperature. We hope this helps. We hope this helps.
I took off the back cover after I looked at youtube similar problems. Then removed the little thermostat and un hooked the 2 wires. I looked up the part and after is was delivered couple days later I connected the 2 wies and after putting the back cover on the oven was back to normal. Was such an easy repair and the part was only $11.
My barely 4 year old Samsung range/oven began not heating consistently. Even though it said 350, for example, we had to increase to 465 to get it to bake. Thought it was the temperature sensor. Ordered and installed new one easily. That didn't solve the problem. So, rather than throw more money at parts that may not have resolved the
