Why would my freezer stop working?
For model number FFBN1721TV0
Hi Vincent, thank you for reaching out. Based on our research, the following parts are responsible for this issue specifically: the capacitor, part number PS2351333, and the compressor, part number PS12365614. Firstly, we recommend you test these parts with a multimeter for continuity to check if they are working or not. If the multimeter is set to ohms, check for a reading lower than 120 ohms to determine that the capacitor is functioning, and for a good compressor, the ohm reading should not be above 30. If any of these parts are found to be damaged/defective, replace them. But if the capacitor and compressor are working right and the issue still persists, you may need to replace the control electronic board, part number PS12365605. We hope this solves your problem!
