There is some water in the bottom off the freezer
and it is leaking by the door.
For model number EI23BC30KS3
Hey Michel, thank you for your inquiry. We have researched your model and found that if your refrigerator is leaking water in the freezer section then the most likely problem is with its drain hole. It is commonly called the defrost hole, located at the back of the freezer. This is responsible for taking the water and draining it from the appliance. If it has become clogged with debris, food, or other particles, this could be the reason why your freezer is leaking.
First, try flushing the drain from inside the freezer with warm water, using a turkey baster or a small funnel. You can also try using a pipe cleaner or a straightened coat hanger to forcibly remove the clog. If this doesn't fix the problem you may need to manually remove the debris that's clogging the check valve at the end of the drain hose. Locate the defrost drain hose in the bottom back service panel. This hose should have a rubber check valve, which helps regulate humidity and is known for catching debris and clogging. Clean the valve out with hot water and soap, and reinstall the valve.
We hope this helps.

Trying to troubleshoot why my ice maker leaks water from the rear center of the freezer compartment, leaving a sheet of ice down the back wall and bottom of the freezer.
For model number EI23BC30KS3
Hi Mark,
Thank you for your question. If water is leaking from the ice maker, check the fill tubes and the fill cup to make sure they are securely fastened. Also check them for signs of damage. You will also need to check the ice maker and the water inlet valve to see if they are working correctly. We have included a link that you may reference on how to check these parts. Once you have determined the part you need, please feel free to call customer service. We are open 7 days a week and anyone will be happy to assist you. We look forward to hearing from you!

water leaking out of refrigerator
In my specific appliance the water valve is located in the bottom right hand corner looking at it from the back. To get to it I remove the thin layer of cardboard the covers the back of the fridge. I then proceeded to disconnect the 1/4" copper tubing which is the water feed coming out of the wall. Then I removed the screws that hold the

valve assembly in place. I took the water valve out and removed the electrical connections as well as the plastic tubing which feed the water dispenser and the ice maker. To install the new water valve it was just a matter of reversing steps.
