When oven heats up it bakes for awhile then the dinger starts, shuts the oven off and will not quit dinging till I turn the power to the unit off. Sometimes a f24 shows on the display before I shut it down
Do you have any idea what causes it?
For model number C272US
Hello Lawrence, Thank you for the question. The F24 fault code is caused by a closed/stuck/shorted contact on the control panel for more than 60 seconds. Is resetting power did not fix the issue, the panel will need to be replaced. I looked up the part and it is listed as No Longer Available/Discontinued sorry. There are no part substitutions listed. My suggestion here would be to call the manufacturer and see if they can provide you with a substitution for these part numbers. We hope this helps!
