I accidently hit the self clean button when the oven door was open. The mechanism is in the locked position.The readout says loc. I disconnected the power to reset it but that didn't work. Right now the oven door is open and the oven sets locked.

Thank you for your question. Try hitting the cancel button to see if this will help. If not, then you will need to unlock the door manually. The assembly is normally located between the main top and the oven and can only be accessed by raising the main top. This is very difficult to do because the screws that hold the top in place are inaccessible with the door closed. If the assembly cannot be accessed then you will have to form a wire hook (coat hanger), and insert it between the door and the latch and manually pull the latch to the open position. Remove power to the oven before attempting this procedure and be careful not to damage the finish. We hope this helps! If you have any questions, please let us know.

Turned power off at electrical panel. Pulled oven away from wall. Removed back cover (6 screws), then unplugged wires from old receptacle. I had to pull the squeeze clips backwards & break them to remove the old receptacle - couldn't squeeze them enough to remove them otherwise.
