I push the normal wash button, the light comes on. I push the start button, nothing happens. Can you tell just from that what is wrong?
For model number 66515789300
Hello Steve, Thank you for the question. Since the Start is the most common button to be used it can wear out over time and the touch pad will need to be replaced. I looked up the part and it is listed as No Longer Available/Discontinued sorry. There are no part substitutions listed. Our suggestion here would be to call the manufacturer and see if they can provide you with a substitution for these part numbers. We hope this helps.

We recently found part of a spring in our dishwasher. Are there any springs in the tub area other than the flip lid for the soap dispenser (which is still intact)?
For model number 66515789300
Hi Curtis, thank you for your question! Inner tub does not have any spring, but the door catch, part number PS382810, has a spring which can fall inside the tub when broken. Door catch attaches at the top of the dishwasher tub and locks the door latch in place when the door is closed. We hope this is what you were looking for!

Removed spray arm thumb nut. Removed spray arm. replaced worn and broken earings and re-assembled in reverse order. Would have done the repair a lot sooner if I had known that PartsSelect was just a few miles up the highway.
Installed new door seal. Dishwasher still leaked. Googled the model number and then cleaned the filter at the bottom of the dishwasher, still leaked. Verified that manifold bearing was not work. It was OK. Found note that a plugged vent might cause leaking door. Very counterintuitive. Pried off air vent cover. Vent was tho
