How does the spring go on the trigger
For model number 224L
PartSelect logo
Hello Jim, thank you for the question. We are providing you with the instructions that will help you replace the spring of the trigger. 1- Remove the wire and boot from the spark plug. 2- Unthread the screws holding the two halves of the throttle housing. 3- Use a small flat-head screwdriver to separate the two halves of the housing. 4- Now, insert the short end through the hole in the trigger with the hook facing the left side. 5- Realign the trigger on the mounting post and place the long end of the spring above the tension pin. 6- Snap the two halves of the housing together. 7- Rethread and tighten the screws to secure them. We hope this helps!

Hard Starting, Rough Idle, Lack of power
No Big deal. Gaped the new spark plug and installed. Changed the air filter. The old filter was quite dirty. Now runs great and easy to start. Should have done it sooner or at least at the start of every season. Thanks for the quick delivery!

part not same
Ordered on/off switch. My switch had only one wire terminal. Replacement had two. I ran a wire from one to a screw as a ground. Switch worked fine.
