Owners, manual operators, manual, how to install new belt
For model number 13039
Hello Randall, thank you for contacting us. According to our research, we are providing you with instructions that will help you replace the deck belt.
1- Remove the ignition key and disconnect the spark plug ignition wire and red cable from the battery.
2- Engage the parking brake.
3- Remove the belt keepers from around the engine pulley.
4- Remove the belt from the engine pulley.
5- Remove the quick link from the front of the mover.
6- Remove the left and right hanger brackets.
7- Remove the PTO cable by removing the bow tie clip.
8- Remove the spring from the deck idler pulley bracket.
9- Put the deck height lever in its highest position.
10- Slide the cutting deck out from the right side of the mower.
11- Remove the outer deck covers and loosen the two idler pulleys.
12- Removing the belt and replacing it with the new one.
