This burner control knob is a genuine OEM replacement part that is compatible with range cooktops. It is made of stainless steel and has a diameter of approximately 2 inches. It also features a grip for easy handling. The knob controls the flow of gas to the burner and this allows users to regulate the amount of heat produced by each burner. You can find each knob on the front panel or surface of the cooktop. Over time, it is normal for the knob to become loose or damaged. If the knob is faulty, it will become difficult to turn or it will make a clicking sound work when you attempt to turn it. Remove the faulty knob by gently pulling it away from the cooktop. Inspect each knob for signs of a fault. Each burner knob is sold individually

Plastic knob shaft split when turned too hard.

Simply pulled up on the bad knob to remove it. and pushed down the stainless steel replacement. The only problem came when the first replacement arrived. The knob dial skirts are made of plastic and become warped with the heat

I had really hoped these new knob dual skirts would be made of metal and therefore superior to the ones that came with the oven, but alas, these are also made of plastic. It was easy to screw them into place although they didn’t come with screws I just used the old screws. I sure hope they last longer than the originals! Read more...
