This agitator assembly is an authentic OEM part that is compatible with various models of washing machines. It consists of a central shaft with a series of fins attached to it. When the washer is operating, the agitator rotates back and forth, causing the clothes to rub against each other and against the agitator itself, which helps to loosen dirt and stains. If the agitator does not move or moves erratically while the washer is running, then this is a sign that it is faulty. You may also hear unusual noises such as grinding or rattling and notice that your clothes are not distributed evenly around the agitator during the wash cycle.

Part came fast
Came fast and easy to install. Insane how a $1200 washer has parts that commonly wear out in 1 year. Nothing against part select though. They did great at a great price. Update 10/17/2022 the part already broke just like the factory one. Same exact place.

The spin cicle is extremly noisy. It appears to be a bad bearing. Can this bearing be replaced?
For model number MVWC565FW0
Hello Nick, thank you for your inquiry. According to our understanding, the issue is most probably with the bearing. The bearing comes along with the transmission, part number PS16220911. You may need to replace the transmission to fix the issue. We hope this solves your problem!
