First off, this part does not look like a seal. It seems more like a trim piece. It is the only part along the bottom of the DW door so it is indeed a seal, and the DW was leaking after I replaced the seal around the tub and the door. First take off the inner panel of the door by removing the Torx screws on the edge and the hinges. Pay attention to which hole each screw came out because they are different lengths. Gently separate the inner panel being careful with the wires going to the detergent dispenser. The seal is held on by 5 small hex head screws on the bottom of the door panel. Remove the old one and install the new one. Put the door panel back together and on the hinges. Good luck.
All of the wheels had broken off and the bottom rack was hard to move.
It was very easy to pry off the old wheel assemblies with a screwdriver and pop the new ones in place. Although the part is called "wheel" it is actually the plastic piece containing two wheels. I thought it was a little confusing to just call it "wheel" as each piece has two wheels. It was an easy repair.
rat got under dishwasher and chewed water lines, grommet
saw big hole in first (main) hose - got replacement at local hardware thinking it was the only problem - it wasn't - turned on the water and noticed another leak so ordered hose from parts select - fast delivery - installed 2nd hose but still a leak so ordered grommet from parts select - again prompt delivery - installed it and voila no more leak - also checked for rat entry points, plugged those and put down bait - bait wasn't being taken under dishwasher even tho rat reappeared so put a snap trap in back - no luck so far - teachable moment: might have been cheaper to just get another dishwasher as parts are expensive and its difficult to tell extent of damage - luckily i only needed 3 parts = $150
Very easy to repair with the replacement wheel assembly. Popped out the broken one, popped in the new one. Price was nothing compared to having an professional repair person come to the home. Glad I found you on line!
I simply had to hook up the power cord to the dishwasher so i could plug it into the outlet rather than direct wire the appliance. Everything went very smoothly. Everything needed for installation other than tools was provided. Easy to follow instructions if you know a little about electrical wiring.
With a little pressure, I was able to push off the broken wheel pieces with my thumbs. I was able to snap on the new wheel pieces really easily. This job took less than 15 minutes to replace all 4 wheel pieces.
All I had to do is lay the shield over the top and sides and used a couple of clips to hold in place as it was slid under the counter top. It couldn’t have been easier. We had searched everywhere for this replacement shield and parts select was the the only ones that had it. Very good service and fast delivery,
