ENTRIES:
In order to qualify for PartSelect's $5000 GE Appliance Giveaway, entrants must submit a valid entry. A valid entry must meet the following requirements:
- Post uses one of the (5) approved blogging topics.
- Post is at least 300 words.
- Post is unique.
- Entries must be submitted by email to contests@partselect.com.
- Entries must include the URL of the contest post as well as entrants name,
city and preferred email for contact. If no preferred email is given, PartSelect will
assume email used to enter is the preferred email for contact.
- Post must be received by 11:59pm EST on January 31, 2012.
- Entrant must be a legal US resident.
- Entrant must be 18 years or older.
- Only one entry per blog domain.
PRIZES:
The grand prize winner will be selected at random within (7) days of the contest close date.
The grand prize winner will be awarded with a prize of up to $5000 (before taxes) worth
of major GE appliances. Winner can choose what GE Appliances they would like to have
(including selection of model, color, features, etc), but only major household GE appliances
are eligible. Winner may not select more than $5000 (before taxes) worth of goods (less delivery fees).
PartSelect will not pay out winner if total goods selected equal less than $5000, regardless of amount.
Once a winner has been selected, a GE appliance retailer local to the winner will be contacted
and arrangements will be made for the winner to select the GE appliances they would like. Selection
is based on availability and may be limited. Delivery, installation and haul away (old appliances)
are mandatory and will be deducted from the total prize winnings of $5000.
TERMS:
Winners must claim prize within (30) days of winner announcement. If winner fails to claim prize within said time frame, winner will forfeit all rights to the prize and new winner will be drawn. New winner will have (30) days from new draw date to claim prize.
Grand Prize is not exchangeable in any way and cannot be redeemed for monetary value. PartSelect reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value without notice.
Prizes are for personal use only and cannot be used for commercial purposes.
PartSelect reserves the right to disqualify any posts that are off-topic, defamatory, contain inappropriate content, or violate intellectual property rights, or are otherwise deemed unfit.
By accepting the grand prize, winner agrees to submit a photograph of their prize selection. Winner will be contacted via contact information submitted with entry. Winner will also be announced on PartSelect.com’s corporate Facebook and Twitter accounts.
Winner is solely responsible for complying with any tax laws that may apply. Winner is responsible for filling out any applicable federal or state tax forms. The prize value is limited to the value of the goods themselves and does not include the value of any taxes. It is the responsibility of the winner to pay all federal, state or local taxes including but not limited to all sales tax and personal income tax. Winner is responsible for the filing and remitting of any applicable federal or state and local tax forms.
PartSelect owns the right to publish all entries. PartSelect is not responsible for any errors or technical failures that may occur with the contest.
Contest is void where prohibited by law. No purchase necessary.
PartSelect cannot be held liable for any injury or damage to persons and/or things as a result of the acceptance of the prize offered.
Employees of PartSelect and its associated companies are not eligible to enter.
All entries become the property of PartSelect and may be used for promotional purposes both during and after the contest. Winners will be posted at PartSelect after the contest closes.
Odds of winning depend on the number of entries received.
PartSelect reserves the right to terminate contest at any time, without notice.
By entering the contest, entrant has agreed to all terms of the contest.
