Loud pop, circuit breaker tripped.
Pulled stove out. Removed screws(5) holding top unit. Tipped top unit to get at the control panel. Removed screws holding control panel. Removed wires from old one and put on to the new one. Reinstalled top panel and turn breaker back on.PS I didn't order a new face panel so had to gentley remove from the old and put on the new panel(before reinstalling). I would suggest getting a new one when ordering this conrtol panel. Read more...

Oven would go out, the electronic clock/display would begin flashing
I removed the back panel, removed the 4 screws holding in the clock, unplugged the wiring harness plug. I then had to remove the display screen which was glued onto the main clock piece. To accomplish this without tearing it, I used a hairdryer to soften the adhesive just enough to peal it off. Luckily, enough glue remained that I could then stick it onto the new clock. I then plugged in the wiring harness and reinstalled the clock and rear panel. Read more...

Overlay was cracked, drawer glide missing
Overlay replacement is easy; 1st remove two screws that hold panel to top of stove (philips screwdriver) and lift up off of lip at very top, 2nd remove two screws that hold control to panel (nutdriver or square drive screwdriver), 3rd peel old overlay from control panel face (make sure you get any & all little bits so new overlay sits flush), 4th peel backing from overlay and position over control panel (peel protective film from face of overlay as well), 5th reposition control panel and reinstall two screws removed in step two above, lastly reposition top panel on stove and reinstall the two screws removed in step one above.
Drawer glide just snaps into place on the lower rear corners of drawer, then you slide drawer back into place. Read more...
