We were away for 4 days and upon our return, my ice maker was off and it wouldn't come back on. Dead, no lights on the control panel, completely dead. I vacuumed out the drain line, removing the water and there was standing water in the pan that holds the ice and I removed that also. Once I removed the water from the drain line, the maker came back on. However, it soon shut off again and I had to vacuum out the drain line again. I repeated this several times with the same result. The only slightly strange thing was that it would stay on "eco" mode regardless or how many times I switched it to "ice". I also held the menu button down long enough that it switched to clean, but it still shut off once the water built up. If got the water out it operate for approximately 2 minutes and no water would come out of the drain line. HELP!!!

For model number UR15IM20RS1
Hello John, thank you for contacting us. Make sure that the gasket is not faulty. Also, take a look at your water line. If it is not properly aligned it can cause leakage. If this does not help, we would recommend checking the water inlet valve, part number PS11731862, the defrost sensor, part number PS11731916, and the drain valve, part number PS11773317. We hope this sorts out your problem!
