What does error code f3-1 tell me.
For model number MER6770AAW
Hello Leo, Thank you for the question. This error code normally indicates the Long Oven Sensor, PartSelect Number PS1570174 is defective and will need to be replaced. We hope this helps.
Ovens heat then i get a f3-2 code and says call service. Lower heating element shorted and in pieces replaced long sensor and heating element then also replaced upper heating element. Will run up temps then shut down.

Removed the oven door by opening slightly, then pic door up to remove. Remove 2 screws holding oven sensor in place, gently pull on sensor to remove, had to remove about 8 inches to get at plastic connector. Unplug connector, had to use an adapter cable supplied with the PartSelect kit to install new sensor, push cable back into opening,
