My washer will not enter spin cycle. It will do everything else but when it’s time to spin, it will not enter spin mode.
For model number GTW335ASN1WW

Hi Casey, Thank you for your question. If the washer will not spin, there are some parts that you will need to check to see which one is causing the issue. You will need to need to check the motor sensor, the lid switch assembly and the lid lock striker. To test the motor sensor and the lid switch assembly, you will need to use a multimeter. The motor sensor should have a reading around 1 or OL. This is acceptable. If the reading is closer to zero, then it is defective. For the lid switch, set your multi-meter to Rx1, and touch the probes to the terminals. You are testing for continuity you should receive a reading of zero. If you do not get a reading of zero, then it will need to be replaced. You will need to do a visual inspection of the strike to see if it is out of alinement or damaged. We hope this helps!

Unable to control incoming water temp
For model number GTW335ASN1WW
PartSelect logo
Hello Dennis, Thank you for the question. We suggest turning the Cold Water off to see if the water is still filling when the Temperature Control is set to Cold and then doing the same with Hot. If the water still fills then you may have a defective Valve. If it seems to work normally, you may have a defective control board as it is what controls the Water Temperature. We hope this helps!

Would not drain the water from the tub.
Very simple to repair. Be sure to drain the tub outside or into the sump pump then lay the washer on its side. The pump is right there on the bottom of the basket with 3 bolts. You will also need to remove the belt cover to get to the plug. So simple and saves you hundreds off repair man prices.
